Origami Owl® Living Lockets™ are an incredibly fun, you-design custom jewelry. I am a Seattle native. Born and raised in the North end of Seattle, Kenmore Washington. I migrated to the foothills to the Cascade Mountain in the quaint Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington.  

Hoot Owl Lockets came to be in 2014 when I joined Origami Owl in 2014 as a Designer in waiting.  Designer #29157, which is engrained in my brain forever.  It was an exciting time, as Origami Owl was so wildly popular and didn't have the resources to take on all the designers that wanted to join.  I was invited to attend the very first Origami Owl convention, which we were promised to receive the fast track to becoming a designer and no longer having to wait to be onboarded.  I enjoyed many years of hosting jewelry bars, and setting up booths at county fairs, and holiday bazaars.  What joy it was to help someone create their meaningful locket.  Many times, I witnessed tears of emotion when someone captured that perfect locket that spoke their story.  Over the years I have attended incentive trips (Cabo, Maui, Cancun, & Norwegian Cruise to the Caribbean), in addition to the annual conventions called "Experience" (AZ, Chicago & Savannah GA).  I have always loved photography so I dove into photographing creations my customers would put together.   It also became very apparent that there was a need for a historical database of Origami Owl charms and products for collectors and designers to refer to.  I developed an Airtable database, and a website called hootowllockets.com to create a historical database of products.
